A connection is a two-way yes. Once you accept, each of you sees the details the other set to Connections.

Ask to connect#

  1. Open someone's card or find them in the directory.
  2. Choose Connect (or Ask to connect). You need a card of your own first.
  3. The button reads Request sent. They decide. You see their details if they accept.

You can send a limited number of requests a day. If you reach it, try again tomorrow.

Answer a request#

Open Connections, then Requests. You see who is asking and what they would see of your card. Choose Accept or Decline. Declining is private: they are not told. Requests you do not answer stay there.

Manage connections#

  • Connected lists people you have accepted. Search by name.
  • Sent lists requests waiting for an answer. Choose Withdraw request to cancel one.
  • Remove ends a connection. They are not told, and they stop seeing your Connections details.

Block someone#

Open their card, choose the three dots, then Block. A blocked person cannot open your card, find you in the directory or ask to connect, and they are not told. Find the list in Settings, Blocked people. Unblocking does not reconnect you; either of you can ask again.

Report a card#

Impersonation, abuse or phishing: on the card page, choose Report this card. Several reports of phishing or pretending to be someone hold a card out of view until a person has looked at it. We aim to act within 24 hours.
