Cincio has no passwords. You sign in with a six-digit code we email you, or with a passkey on a device you have set up. The same code creates your account the first time, so there is no separate sign-up step.
Sign up or sign in with an emailed code#
- Open cincio.app/sign-in.
- Enter your email address and choose Send code.
- Open the email from Cincio and enter the six digits.
- Choose Sign in. If this is your first time, you land on Make your card.
The code works once and lasts 10 minutes. After five wrong tries the code stops working and you ask for a new one.
If the code does not arrive#
- Wait a minute, then check spam or promotions for an email from Cincio.
- Choose Resend code when the countdown ends. You can ask for 3 codes in 10 minutes. After that the screen tells you how many minutes to wait.
- Choose Use a different email if you mistyped the address.
- If the screen says "today's are used up", we send a limited number of sign-in codes a day. Try again after the time it shows (in your local time), or sign in with a passkey if you set one up.
Sign in with a passkey#
If you added a passkey, choose Sign in with a passkey on the sign-in screen and confirm with your fingerprint, face or screen lock. See Passkeys and extra security to add one.
If the screen says "That passkey isn't set up for Cincio", use the emailed code instead.
Good to know#
- Your email address is how Cincio knows it is you. It is not shown on your card unless you add it as a detail.
- You stay signed in for up to 30 days. A device you do not use for 14 days signs out on its own.
- To sign out, open Settings and tap Sign out twice. Signing out also clears the saved copy of your card on that phone.
